Morning Madness - by Ronnie

Uzair, Zayn, Keanu and I colouring in squares to write our name in binary in style.

On Tuesday the 25th of June it was the school open morning. You may be wondering what

an open morning is, well it’s a morning where your parents can come into your classroom

and see what you are learning in class BUT they get to do it with you! We did Maths -

coding to be specific. The parents did not hate it, nor the children. We also did some binary

codes as seen in the photo. Binary is the computer language made up of ones and zeros.

There is a binary alphabet, so that’s how we knew how to write our names in binary. Not

many parents came but we still had an awesome day.

Some things about coding are not always very exciting but they are still educational. I learnt

that the bots which we coded take their time, they are like the slowest thing on earth. That it

is really easy to mess up whilst coding them. You press forward, back, left and right, but if

you press one wrong button it messes the whole thing up. So you can tell the bots can get

really annoying sometimes.
